I know this is a little sad, but I was very excited to find out that our photocopiers at Bath Spa have a function where you can scan A3 pages – with a sheet feeder – and automatically convert them to PDFs and get them emailed to you directly. About seven years ago, I started scanning all the scores from my #[unassigned] series on a flatbed A3 scanner. This took most of a day to do about six pieces (it was a very slow scanner…), but today I did about 60 versions in an hour. Admittedly the auto-feed did eat a few of the pages which necessitated some gluing and smoothing out, but on the whole it was very successful. I now have a near complete digital archive of all the #[unassigned], as well as some earlier pieces,although some still seem to be missing. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with them at this stage, but may upload them at some point.
